MCL Home Page Events To Donate To Receive Toys Contact Us Drop-Off Locations Map to Barracks Picture Gallery Toys For Tots Website TotsTV	MISSION: The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. GOAL: The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders. COLLECTION: The Samuel F. Gearhart Detachment Marine Corps League will be gathering toy and monetary donations from all organizations and individuals that would like to show their generosity and Christmas spirit. If you are a local business that would like to help out by either giving a donation or being a drop off location please contact us at SgtZig@dishmail.net DISTRIBUTION: The Toys that we collect and purchase will be given to several organizations that the Local Toys For Tots Committee has approved and we will NOT be distributing them to individual families. To better serve our community we will be working closely with The Samaritan Center, Salvation Army, and other local organizations to assist in distributing these toys to the children that are less fortunate. Samaritan Center: Adopted Family Signup: October 1^st-24th Families who have been adopted receive gifts from sponsors. Santa’s Workshop: Dec 3^rd – Dec 19th. Parents, whose family did not participate in the adopt a Family Program, may choose two gifts for each of their children. Contact: 634-7776 Location: 1310 E.
